New Sitcom: Gates

I recently had the opportunity of being on location for the filming of a new Sky-commissioned sitcom 'Gates'. The concept is focusing upon the relationships between parents by the school gates. The location I visited was the school itself in North London.



Sue Johnston is the most popular actress in the programme, although another familiar face includes Tom Ellis (Miranda)...



Keep your eyes peeled, from what I heard it does sound quite funny. (Also, check me out as a Supporting Artist aka. an extra. in Episode 1 Scene 1)

Interesting graphic design...

There's something about this design which I really love. I think it's the delicate use of colour and its femininity too...

It's not necessarily in-keeping with the product design for Redken's products and so I'd be interested to see how it is used in conjunction but in isolation it is really eye-catching.

On the subject of weddings....

From what I've heard speaking to friends, this dress is a bit hit or miss. There's something I really like about this design; it's elegant (makes the most of her figure), sexy and a little quirky. Definitely a design I'll be bearing in mind... (not that I'm getting ahead of myself or anything...)

What a pair of wedding shoes...

Apparently Manolo had to redesign the shoes for Kate Moss FIVE times to get them fit to her specification. What will I have to do to get him to design me a pair of bespoke wedding shoes? Hmmm

Hair Style Icon

Rachel Bilson has long been gracing the fashion pages of magazines but in this photograph my attention is very much on her hair! Got to be one of the best examples of dip-dye.

Fringe Festivities

I am a total sucker for a heavy fringe. I think it is the ultimate winter hair style. Having been defeated by its high maintenance on several occasions over the years and having to go through the tedious (not to mention unattractive) growing out period. Therefore I think this statement fringe-flick is the ideal answer to my fringe/winter hair style. Although I imagine it too would require a significant amount of hair spray!

I love the way this style looks like a great statement hat, epitomising the notion that our hair is the accessory we wear every day.
