Apparently Manolo had to redesign the shoes for Kate Moss FIVE times to get them fit to her specification. What will I have to do to get him to design me a pair of bespoke wedding shoes? Hmmm

Hair Style Icon
Fringe Festivities
I am a total sucker for a heavy fringe. I think it is the ultimate winter hair style. Having been defeated by its high maintenance on several occasions over the years and having to go through the tedious (not to mention unattractive) growing out period. Therefore I think this statement fringe-flick is the ideal answer to my fringe/winter hair style. Although I imagine it too would require a significant amount of hair spray!

New Handbag

I mentioned before about the handbag I'd spotted in the window of Dune on Bridlesmith Gate in Nottingham. Well now I have moved down South again, I happened to chance upon the Dune summer sale (I say "chance" but really my inner-navigation directed me to the shoe haven in Covent Garden).
I homed in on the bag I had previously blogged about but I'm sure there is a design function or, at least, the ergonomics of the front two pockets was not properly executed. The magnetic clasps do not easily enable the owner to make a good connection and it is incredibly fiddly.
However, much to my surprise I chanced upon another bag. Completely different however.
Grey instead of tan.
Small instead of large.
£27 instead of £36 (in the sale).

I'm sat Charlotte Street in London...
I'm sat drinking a glass of wine, enjoying the mild weather with a Pinot Grigio alfresco on Charlotte Street in London and who do I see but Jamiroquai walking down the street looking very Joe Bloggs. THE man who made the trilby hat fashionable in the 90s!
I'm sure he could still pull it off and was slightly disappointed not to see him rocking it down the street!

Every phase in life is determined by a significant piece of fashion...?
It may have been rose-patterened socks which I wore over my black tights from the age of 4-7 years old, but luckily my taste has matured somewhat since the days when my mother tried to dress me and I rebelled (with detrimental fashion scars embedded on my memory)...
But now, facing the next phase of my life - post-uni, pre-job - I happened to have glanced in the window of Dune in Nottingham and experienced a Rebecca Bloomwood moment and fallen in love with this bag!

It has been years since I have looked in Dune, having worked there for over two years during Sixth Form. That is mainly due to my love of their product but the absence of the generous staff discount mixed with my impending student-on-a-budget lifestyle I was adapting to. However, is it time to find I can justify this purchase?
It looks like the perfect interview bag...
Tan goes with EVERYTHING...
I've even considered the little pocket at the front can purposefully hold my oyster card...
£60 plus making the most of my student discount whilst I can. OK, speak later, I have some shopping to do!!
