Friday 15th April 2011: The most hilarious afternoon spent playing 'model' with my best friend Gracie-Lee. A well kept birthday surprise which is every girl's dream: playing dress-up but with real make-up artists and professional hair stylists. Oh and did I mention the endless flow of champagne? Well here's the final result...
Now before you see the photograph below I need to fill you in with a little background information. We were asked to bring four or five different outfit options. After exhausting the dressy options, we made the bold decision to bring out a funny one. The story goes, in 2007 when it was our leaver's day the entire Year 13 dressed up as Superheros which included a pair of Lycra silver leggings. With the absence of our Superman T-shirts, we improvised with black leotards as it linked to our days of performing in the school Dance Production (a whole host of wacky outfits there...) I think if we had anticipated walking through a studio filled with people whilst wearing skin-tight Lycra (which in Grace's case had lost all elasticity around the crotch area, resulting in me laughing uncontrollably in a heap on the floor) the mortification would have put us off for sure. But faced with the reality we went with it and strutted our way round (breathing in constantly I might add) and here is the final result. We can laugh at it so feel free to do the same...
