Movie time!

It's about time I got to know some of the classic films there are out there. Take Breakfast At Tiffanys for example, an absolute classic with a massively influential fashion icon as the leading lady. This year, 2012, I shall open my eyes to some of the more classic films that have been created and not shying away from the old black and white ones.

Here is the top 10 from the ultimate source, IMDb, which will be my go-to guide for my task ahead:

1. The Shawshank Redemption (1994)
2. The Godfather (1972)
3. The Godfather: Part II (1974)
4. The Good, the Bad and the Ugly (1966)
5. Pulp Fiction (1994)
6. 12 Angry Men (1957)
7. Schindler's List (1993)
8. One Flew Over the Cuckoo's Nest (1975)
9. The Dark Knight (2008)
10. The Lord of the Rings: The Return of the King (2003)

Looking Slick

Absolutely loving the current trend for slicking back hair adopting a sense of androgyny, transforming the 'wet-look' into chic, catwalk style. My favourite celebrities to rock this look are Keira Knightley and Emma Watson. They both have quite similar looks I guess but it really makes me want to bring out the gel I used to use every Saturday to get my hair in a bun for ballet and experiment with some of these styles!

Fave product: Redken's NEW Acrylic Shape 15!

H&M Model

Absolutely love this model's haircut. It's my ultimate winter-do but having battled with a fringe year before last, I have to hold my hands up and say I just can't deal with the high maintenance a fringe requires *sob*.

Rose's Shoe Boots!

I just happened to come across the most beautiful pair of shoe boots ever! And they just happen to have my name (literally) written all over! All the excuse I need...

However, I ask you it's November now so how are us girls best to brace the open-toe situation? These shoes look undeniably wintery minus the little gap which will inevitably result on frost bite! Maybe a chunky knit sock which you make a feature of rouch-ed above the top of the shoe? I need to work something out at least otherwise these will end up being another pair of shoes which just sit and be admired from afar...

What a cracking figure. Very jealous.

Beautiful composition and use of colour. Think its fab!
